  • Tuesdays - Ladies' evening Bible Study will be meeting 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday June 2, 16 and 30  to discuss the book “Heaven” by Randy Alcorn.  Location TBA.  Call Martha Shirkey (859-873-6043)

JUNE 8-19

Hope Ministries Food Bank
Once a year, St. Andrew’s helps at the Hope Ministries Food Bank, located in Versailles. Our turn is coming up fast! We will help Mondays (2-4 p.m.), Wednesdays (10 a.m.-noon) and Fridays (2-4 p.m.) during the weeks of June 8-19. The number of clients attending the food pantry is dramatically up this year. Our commitment to this project is important to the well-being of our community. It will also be a blessing to you to provide this service for those in need. Please stop by the information table to sign up, or call Lora Werner at 859-396-6655

JUNE 12-14

Sr. High Retreat
High school students are invited to join Chris Millard and the youth team for a weekend retreat June 12-14. The cost is $40. You’ll need a sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, Bible, notebook, beach towel, pool shoes, bug spray, change of clothes and a swimming suit. Flyers and applications were sent in the mail this week. If you plan to go, see Chris Millard, or send in the application no later than Sunday, June7! Leaving from the church at 5:30 pm on the 12th and returning at 4pm in the 14th.

Habitat Blitz Build
Woodford Habitat For Humanity is holding their annual Building Blitz from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on June 20-27. Lunch and water will be provided, bring a hammer if you can! For more information call 333-0440.

Ladies Night Out
Our monthly outing will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 16 at the tavern at the Beaumont Inn in Harrodsburg. All are welcome! Please call Katey Meares at 873-5613 for reservations, directions or for assistance with a ride.

Upcoming Events:
The picnic on June 7th was a hugh success and enjoyed by all who attended! Thanks to Bill Hallman and team for putting it all together. The next Picnic in the Park will be held Sunday, August 2! Watch for details to come!
