- Ushers & Nursery Help Needed
Both our Usher and Nursery Teams are in need of additional team members. These are both areas of service that require no weekly preparation, but a willingness to serve on a rotating schedule and a desire to share God’s love with people of all ages. Please consider joining them. Call Martin Anderson at 502-330-1972 to join the Usher Team. Speak to Jan Bowen in the Nursery about joining the Nursery Team.
- THANK YOU SO MUCH!
for all of the donations of materials and time towards the Easter dinners and baskets that were delivered to families from Huntertown and Southside Elementary schools. This year we included 34 families, with a total of 152 people! Out of that number, 88 children received Easter treats thanks to your generosity! Thanks again for all your support of this outreach project

We are currently building a team of people who are interested in learning to run the soundboard at either service on a rotating, once-a-month basis. If you are interested, please let Pastor Brannen or Sharon Werner know by writing a note on a communication card, or by calling the church office.
- Invite-A-Friend Prayer
Dear Lord, Thank you for Your desire that all Your children have a relationship with you. Please draw_____to you. I pray that my life would make You attractive to him/her. And give me the opportunity, courage and right words to invite him/her to church. I look forward to the day when she/he is sitting beside me during a service!!
- Gifts of Stock Toward Property
St. Andrew's now has a
brokerage account and is able to
accept the gift of stocks for our
property and building funds. For
more information and to learn about
the tax advantages call the church

- Nursery Thanks
Jan Bowen, our Nursery worker, wants to thank each person on the Nursery Roster for their care and love of our little ones! In order to round out the Roster just a bit, we are in need of a few more helpers at each of the worship services and during Sunday School. This is not only a ministry to our children, but to their parents and visitors with small children as well. Men and teens are welcome to help along with the ladies! Call Sharon Werner at the church office to volunteer or write a note on a communication card this morning. Thank you!
- Southside Outreach
The Saturday before we moved into
Southside Elementary, bags of coffee
were distributed to our neighbors - to
introduce ourselves and invite them to
join us. We have some coffee left that
is available to any parishioner who would
like to use it - specifically to invite
a friend to church. Please speak to
Sharon Werner at the church office.
- Our New Chairs
We hope you are enjoying our new “cushioned seating”! These were obtained at a bargain price of $10 per chair. Because this purchase was not part of this year’s budget, please consider “purchasing” seats for yourself and perhaps for your entire family. If you wish to write a check for your donation, please make it out to St. Andrew’s Church and write “chairs” on the memo line. If you are giving cash, please place it in an envelope marked “chairs”
- New Set-up/Take Down Teams
Our new worship space is lovely!....it
takes many hands to set up and take
down. Please see Erik Bostrom to volunteer to help set up on Saturday morning, and consider staying after the 11:00 service each week to help take down. Everyone needs to pitch in to see this job complete each weekend.
-
Birthday Card Ministry

This is a ministry that blesses all of us and that you can do from your own home. Please call Rita Cobb at 502-633-6315 for more information or to join the team.

Last year we cared for the poor and sick just as Christ taught us by helping to complete the new 20-bed Ward at the Azur Christian Clinic in Hoima, Uganda.
This year we’re helping to spread the Gospel by paying for a Toyota SUV that Bishop Nathan uses to travel the many unpaved roads throughout the Diocese of Bunyoro-Kitara.
NOTE: You can only buy cards to benefit St. Andrew's at the information table or by contacting Mary Greathouse
