Vestry The vestry is an elected body which represents the parish in managing the temporal affairs or the church and serving as a council of advice for the pastor.
The vestry members are elected each fall based on the following guidelines.

If you believe you may be called to serve on the vestry at St. Andrews Church, please prayerfully consider the following guidelines and the biblical passages that give rise to them.
Please read: Acts 6:1-7; 1 Timothy 3; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:1-4; and 1 Corinthians 13:1-13.
Vestry members should also be able to affirm the following standards for their faith and practice, praying that God will enable all members of the vestry to serve Him with these marks of character.
God willing, members of the St. Andrews vestry should
Have a deep personal faith in Jesus Christ, be filled with the Holy Spirit and able to give a verbal and written witness of that faith.
Have a demonstrated commitment to our parish, a track record of effective ministry and evidence of Gods gifts and calling for leadership and servanthood in this parish.
Be a godly example to the parish in our personal life, be fully supportive of the sanctity of Christian marriage and family life, adhere to biblical standards of morality and be of good reputation in the greater community.
Be committed to the vision of the parish.
Be team players (willing to listen, speak, learn and pray with one another) with servants hearts committed above all to discerning and carrying out Gods will in this parish.
Be able to commit to regular vestry meetings and committee responsibilities.
Be personally committed to the biblical principle of tithing.
