A group of women gathers for lunch and fellowship, mutual encouragement, study, and prayer on Thursdays from 12:30 p.m. until around 2 p.m. While we sometimes do a study of a book in the Bible, we have also done other topical studies. Mostly we enjoy each other and are happy to welcome all interested ladies into our group.
A common saying within Freedom Road is that 95% of the congregation should be there. But truthfully, the percentage is closer to 100! Why? The SLS group, led by Rev. Todd and Julie Renner, meets from 7-8 p.m. the first and third Thursday of each month downstairs. As survivors of suicide loss, the group shares compassion, understanding and resources to help them through the grief process.
St. Andrew’s continues to be the site of a women’s Alcoholics Anonymous group that meet from 8-9 a.m. each Saturday in Nathan Hall. The group is growing! For confidential information about the group contact the church office.

Avanza is a tutoring ministry for children at Woodford County’s Huntertown Elementary School who are English language learners (that is, students whose first language is not English). Tutors help the students with their homework while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.
