Ben preaches on this difficult parable of Jesus of the workers in the vineyard, and how it tends to put a mirror up to our own hearts. We tend to want to earn the rewards of the Kingdom for ourselves, but God’s lavish and undeserved mercy shows us that His grace can never be earned or deserved. When we grumble and call His mercy unjust, we are being exposed that we don’t understand what His mercy really is for.
